Please read the following waiver carefully

I know that participating in physical fitness events, including this event, is a potentially hazardous activity. I agree not to participate unless I am medically able and properly prepared. I should not participate without my physician's approval. I agree to abide by any decision of an event official concerning my ability to safely participate. I acknowledge that this event is being organized by Mennonite Central Committee BC (the “Race or Event Organizer”). 
 
I assume any and all risks associated with the event; including but not limited to, falls, contact with other persons or objects, contracting Covid-19, the effects of weather; traffic and course conditions. As a condition of my entering this event, I, for myself, any accompanying minors, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, release the Event Organizer, including its directors, members, employees, representatives, sponsors, and volunteers, from all present and future claims and liabilities of any kind, known or unknown, arising out of my participation in this event or related activities, even though such claim or liability may arise out of negligence or fault on the part of the Event Organizer, and waive any right to make such a claim. I agree that the Event Organizer shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, or property loss, and I release the Event Organizer and waive all claims with respect thereto. 
 
I agree to be bound by the provisions of the waiver by registering myself for this event. I grant permission to the Event Organizer to use my personal information and likenesses of me including photos, videos, or any other record of my participation in this event or related activities without remuneration. 

In the event that the participant is a minor, this was signed by their parent or guardian who has the legal power to do so. 

If you are registering another person, you agree that you have read this waiver to the person you are registering and they have given you permission to represent them & sign this waiver on their behalf.
