As a grass-roots event, the MCC Festival for World Relief is run almost entirely by volunteers! Help us make this year’s event a success by giving of your time, talent or treasure.
If you have a special skill to offer that isn’t listed below, feel free to contact Hannah Toews at firstname.lastname@example.org or 604-851-7732 to see how we can get you involved. THANK YOU!

Children’s Area Volunteers
The Children’s Area has lots of fun games and activities for kids to do all weekend. We are looking for volunteers to help run this area and watch the various activities. The children’s area is open Friday, Sept.13 from 5 – 9 pm and on Saturday, Sept.14 from 9 – 2 pm, shifts will vary.
The Produce Booth offers visitors a beautiful selection of local BC produce and we need help to sell it. We are looking for volunteers to help packaging and pricing, and selling produce! Help needed Friday, from 12 to 9 pm, and Saturday 9 to 2 pm. Shifts again will vary.
Food Booth Volunteer
One of the main reason people visit the Festival is for the delicious Mennonite food! With 20 Food Booths it takes a village to keep things running smoothly. If you, your friends or church group are interested in helping out at a Food Booth please let us know. Food Booths are open, Friday 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Again shifts may vary.
“Do I hear $500? How about $600?” Be part of the excitement of the auction as you assist people in placing bids on items at the Live Auction. You’ll be given a full training session, so don’t worry about having experience. Training will take place at 6:30 pm on Friday, and the auction will take place from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
